Staff at a Coventry spa are celebrating winning a national award for the second year running. Mana Spa, based at The Wave, successfully defended the Spa of the Year title it won at last year’s English Hair and Beauty Awards.
The health and wellbeing venue fought off competition from some of the biggest names in the business at an awards ceremony at Colwick Hall Hotel in Nottingham. Spa manager Rachel Brooks said the win was recognition of her staff’s hard work and unflinching ambition to provide the most relaxing and spiritual treatments for customers.
Rachel said: “We’ve continued to maintain all of our standards since we won the first award and I think that stood us in really good stead with the judges. We offer a broad range of different treatments so we stand out in that sense. “We’ve just launched with skincare brand Temple Spa where we offer menopause treatments and oncology massages.
“This latest award really is testament to the hard work of all our staff who make sure we offer high-end treatments and the best customer service – all in the cleanest, most hygienic environment.” Now in their twelfth year, the EHBAs celebrate excellence in the hair and beauty industry and honour the spas, stylists and salons that go above and beyond for their clients.
