All the Coventry Half Marathon road closures to be aware of this weekend

The popular Coventry Half Marathon returns this Sunday, April 28

Runners and their supporters will have barely recovered from th excitement of the London Marathon before it’s time for another major event in the athletics calendar. The Coventry Half Marathon returns this Sunday, April 28.

And with a start and finish line in the city centre, it’s going to be a scenic route for the runners. Thousands of people are expected to take part and the event raises funds for Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice, Myton Hospice, RSPCA Coventry and District, Mind Coventry and more.

Drivers are being warned of road closures across the city while the event is taking place. These are in place from 4am to 3pm although emergency access will be maintained at all times.

Parking suspensions will also be in place from 6pm on Saturday, April 27 until 1pm on Sunday, April 28 to ensure the safe running of the event. The organisers have apologised for the inconvenience.
