Children at Tiny Teddies Day Nursery are ready with pen and paint brush in hand to get creating some letters for lonely locals.

Tiny Teddies Day Nursery, which has settings in Chapelfields, Radford and Whitley, are reaching out to the local community in order for people to nominate both individuals and places who might be in need of a toddler-style mood booster this festive season. Their ‘Lovely Letters’ campaign aims to target lonely and vulnerable people who could benefit from receiving a letter or drawing from the children at the nursery.

Paul Ingram, Director of Tiny Teddies said: “Every year we are usually able to socialise with elderly residents in local care homes but of course we are unable to do so this year. We recognise that this alongside being unable to have family visitors must have created a very lonely time for the elderly and care home residents. We want to show our ongoing support to our community by sending some ‘positive post’ to let people know they’re not alone and that we are thinking of them.”

“We also wanted to broaden who we are speaking to this year and think this is a great opportunity to do so. Through Lovely Letters we are able to offer a cheerful letter to any deserving individual – this could be a new mum or single parent who has been unable to get out and about, or even a child to encourage their own mark making and creative skill development!”

In order to establish their recipients, the nursery needs the public’s help to nominate individuals or places to receive the Lovely Letters. If you know of anybody who would benefit from receiving a letter from the little ones, please visit TinyTeddiesCoventry.co.uk and fill out the short form.
