International pop star Melanie C will be headlining the Main Stage at this year’s Godiva Festival on Sunday 2 July.
The former Spice Girls sensation, known for her popular songs ‘I Turn to You’ and ‘Never Be The Same Again’, will be closing this year’s festival on Sunday evening, after another day of unforgettable live music.
Other Main Stage acts for the day include award-winning RnB DJ Trevor Nelson, Ukrainian Folk-Fusion band Cov Kozaks and soul group Odyssey
Schools from across the city will be taking to The Next Stage throughout the day, as well as brass band and choir performances from Coventry Music. Headlining the Next Stage on the Sunday will be Coventry indie-rockers The Institutes.
Sunday of Godiva Festival is traditionally known as the family day, and in the coming weeks organisers will be announcing some of the family entertainment for this year’s festival.

Individual early bird tickets for Sunday start at £4, with early bird family ticket for the Sunday costing £10. Weekend tickets at the early bird price can be purchased for £15 whilst available.
There will only be 20,000 early bird tickets available, so people are advised to get their tickets early to save money and avoid disappointment. Tickets will be available to buy at 9am on Friday 3 March from www.godivafestival.com/tickets.
