Are you aged 40 and over and haven’t had your Covid jab? Why not come along to this weekend’s pop-up clinic at Hillfields in Coventry.
No appointment is needed, so you can drop-in anytime between 11am to 4pm at a time to suit you. The clinic will be held at the Village Square, making it easy to stop by on either Saturday, 19 June or Sunday, 20 June.
Coventry GP and Chair of the Coventry and Warwickshire Clinical Commissioning Group , Dr Sarah Raistrick said: “It’s very important that everyone makes sure they have their first and second jabs and these easy to access drop-in sessions are one of the simplest ways to do it. There’s no need to book, you don’t have to be registered with a GP to be seen, you don’t need to be able to access the internet and you can make having the jab fit around your weekend plans.
“These clinics are for anyone aged 40 and over, whether it’s for their first or second jab and are even open for people that may be visiting from overseas. Particularly with the Delta strain of Covid that we are seeing in Coventry, it’s really key that you have two jabs to protect yourself, your family and your friends, so if you haven’t and are over 40, please come along this weekend.”
The clinic takes place at the Village Square, Hillfields, Coventry, CV1 5LZ on Saturday 1h June, 11am to 4pm and Sunday, 20 June, 11am to 4pm.
Local people are asked not to attend if they have any symptoms of Covid, including a new continuous cough, a high temperature (above 37.8) or a loss or change to your sense of taste or smell. If you do have symptoms, you must self-isolate and book a PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) test by ringing 119 or visit: Testing for coronavirus (COVID-19).
