Coventry Rugby Club has joined the growing Go CV family and will be offering money off tickets for home games until the end of the current season.

All Go CV card holders will be able to get a 20% discount on all tickets for the remaining five home games – this includes tickets for both adults and children (under 3’s go free).

Every Coventry resident can apply for a Go CV card which offers a wide range of benefits and discounts on cultural leisure and sports activities on the city.  Additional benefits are also on offer to residents who qualify for a Go CV+ membership – that includes people on certain benefits, carers and students.

The first game where Go CV members can enjoy the 20% discount is this weekend’s clash with the Cornish Pirates at the Butts Park Arena which kicks off at 3pm.

There are then four more home games until the end of the season.

Cllr Kamran Caan, Cabinet Member for Public Health and Sport said: “The Go CV card is a brilliant offer for local people and now this great opportunity is another excellent reason to sign up. I’m really pleased that Coventry Rugby Club has decided to offer such a great discount to anyone who lives in the city and has a Go CV card.

“I would encourage anyone who hasn’t already signed up to take a look at what’s on offer.  Over 70,000 members have done just that and signing up is really simple and is done in a few clicks.

“We are a really proud sporting city and we have loads to look forward to this year – but this is a great offer from Coventry Rugby Club in the final push to the end of their Championship season.”

Nick Johnston, Chief Executive Officer of Coventry Rugby Club said ‘’We are thrilled to be one of the first professional sports teams in Coventry to join the Go CV scheme.  When we were first introduced to the idea it was an easy decision for us to make.  Coventry has such a proud sporting heritage and we would like to allow as many people from Coventry to come down to Butts Park Arena and experience a match day, cheer on the team and have a day to remember!’’
