The Council has announced that garden waste (brown-lidded bins) collections will be paused over the next few months.

Garden waste collections will be temporarily stopped from Monday 13 December and will not start again until the first week in February.

This means that residents’ next scheduled garden waste collection will be their last until February.

In order to ensure that their garden waste is collected that week, residents are encouraged to make sure their bins are out by 7am on their collection day. You can find out when your next collection is by visiting the Council website at www.coventry.gov.uk/bindays

Remember – if you want a Christmas bin collection calendar this year you need to order one. You can do that by visiting www.coventry.gov.uk/requestbincalendar and filling in the form, emailing us at [email protected] or calling us on 024 7697 5532 to let us know your address.

The London Road tip remains open and is available to any residents that need to get rid of excess garden waste during this stoppage. You will however need to book a slot.

To book a slot, either visit our website at https://www.coventry.gov.uk/tipbooking or call our Customer Services team on 08085 834333.
