Headlining the Main Stage on the Friday will be Supergrass. The award-winning Oxford outfit have released six albums since their formation in 1993 with three of those albums obtaining the coveted platinum status. They will be joined by Northern Irish Rock Band Therapy? and local up and coming band Candid.
Craig David presents TS5 will be the headline act on the Saturday. TS5 is a prestigious party showcase hosted by Craig David that has toured all over the world. It’s not one to be missed. Moving away from the Main Stage, Godiva Festival’s brand new ‘The Next Stage’ will be hosting the launch party for the upcoming exhibition ‘House is a feeling’. The highlight of the party, which takes place on the Saturday, will be a 2-hour set from Mick Park and Michael Wilson who were residents at the classic Coventry venue The Eclipse. The stage will also feature a set from new Drum and Bass collective Standard Procedure as well as a performance from the legendary General Levy.
On the Sunday, Sister Sledge will be bringing their soulful groove to the festival when they headline the Main Stage. They’ll be joined by the Fun Lovin Criminals who are making a triumphant return to the festival after six years away. Joining them on the Sunday bill is reggae icon David Rodigan, Coventry’s very own Punjabi MC and a very special performance called ‘The Bollywood Jam’ which stars Kanika Kapoor, Mumzy Stranger and dance troupe Bollyflex.
